    (WA4ZZQ) which was not unusual at the time.
  • I earned my Amateur Extra Class license in 2000.
  • I am currently an ARRL member.
  • I have been a member of SC Army MARS since 1978.
  • I am a past president of the Ridge Amateur Radio Club of Batesburg-Leesville,
    SC.
  • I am a former member of the Columbia Amateur Radio Club
    of Columbia, SC and the Greenville VHF Society of Greenville, SC.
  • I am a retired Chemist from the SC Department of Health and Environmental
    Control in Columbia, SC.
  • I was previously employed at Clemson University in Clemson, SC and the American
    Cyanamid Santa Rosa Plant in Pace, FL.
  • My educational achievements are:
  • Cmt. SCV Gen. Wade Hampton Camp #273 in Columbia, SC.
  • Former firefighter with the Monetta VFD (1979-1994) of Monetta, SC (presently
    serving on its board).
  • My personal interests outside amateur radio include vintage recordings and audio
    equipment.
  • I previously bred and showed Bouvier des Flandres dogs.
